Dilnot Boats Testimonial
We commissioned our boat with Alan Dilnot
in 2007 based on a standard specification
which we then changed to be a five birth
while having a number of particular items
installed to our needs.
Throughout the whole process we found Alan and his son brilliant to deal with and importantly always available. We visited the build on a number of occasions and were always made to feel very welcome. Our change list was reasonably extensive but each item was addressed and installed to a very high standard.
The boat was available on time despite some terrible weather causing problems for the painters. Payments were only asked for on completion of stages of the work.
After delivery we had some problems with an electrical fuse and were quickly attended to and at a time convenient to us (we live 120 miles away from the mooring).
This boat is very extensively used (every week) and has proved to be solidly built and thoughtfully laid out – we love it and can’t sing the praises of this builder enough.
